If the screen doesn't show any image, please verify the following:

  • For MTR systems only: Make sure the MTR control panel shows the user interface. If not, the MTR is in sleep mode. Touch the screen or reboot the system to wake it up. (Reboot is only necessary in case the room system is malfunctioning. )
  • Make sure the screen is turned on. 
  • Make sure the correct source is selected for the screen: Step through the input sources (IMPORTANT: Make a note of which input is currently selected and go back there if the correct source is not found)


Try this, if the above is correct.


  • Some new screens/monitors have 2 modes of HDMI, mode 1 and mode 2. If the is no image, try to change the HDMI mode of the screen.
  • Some monitors have an overscan function. Please refer to the monitor manual for instructions on how to turn it off.
  • Switch on CEC in the monitor settings.
  • Use Displayport instead of HDMI.
