If the MTR hangs, restarts, lags or shows other unexpected behaviour it may be due to the connected monitors.
If the monitors are 4K (1 or 2 monitors) the resolution is to force the resolution to 1920x1080.
The best way is to connect an EDID dongle to the monitor and the HDMI cable from the system connects to the dongle. Note: It is very important the dongle is in the monitor and not in the MTR.
If no EDID emulators are available, these instructions from Microsoft can be used to set the resolution. Note: AnOS update may reset these settings. Win10 to Win11 did, for example, reset these settings.
