If the UVC40 is not recognized as an USB device in the RoomConnect app, the device need to be reset to recovery mode and the newest firmware manually updated.

Sometimes the system finds the camera but not the audio devices.


  1. Prepare by uploading the latest firmware file to the device the UVC40 is connected to, usually the MCore.
  2. Find the reset button (hole) on the UVC40, see illustration below.
  3. Use a paper clip to press the reset button for 20 seconds. After 7 seconds the LED blinks once, after 20 seconds the LED blinks red.
  4. When the LED blinks red, release the reset button.
  5. Start RoomConnect app and Wait for the UVC40 to start.
  6. The UVC40 is now connected to the RoomConnect app and in recovery mode. Use the RoomConnec app to upgrade the firmware.
